An insulin pump is a small, battery-operated device that mimics the function of a normal pancreas and gives you a constant drip of insulin. A CGM tracks your glucose levels 24 hours a day keeping you informed at all times about your results. Some insulin pumps can be paired with an optional CGM to continuously check your glucose levels, detect any highs or lows, and calculate a personalized amount of insulin to keep you in range.
